Grooming is a vital part in the well-being and health of any dog. All breeds require regular grooming whether it be a full groom or just a bath and nails trimmed. Regular grooming keeps your dogs coat in tip top condition. Some dogs cast while others do not, but their hair may grow, therefore grooming by a professional varies from breed to breed and by dog to dog, some may need a bath and dry once a month, some may need a full groom every eight weeks and some may only one need done a couple of times a year.

The main reasons for daily grooming include:

    *  decreased chance of various health problems, such as skin problems

    *  general cleanliness of the dog

    *  monitor health by checking for cuts, heat, swelling, lameness, or temperament changes, all of which could indicate illness

    *  forging of a closer bond between dog and owner

    *  reducing the chance of external parasites on skin.
